Community 54 x The Art of Reuse

The collective known as The Art of Reuse, have collaborated with Community 54 to present “The Intramural Collection.” The collection draws inspiration from the “Ivy” look which happens to be the coinciding theme for their next thrift boutique, opening this summer in San Francisco, California.

Each snapback features University/College years; freshman, sophomore, junior and senior, embroidered onto the front panel. Hats are limited to 100 in the world, with half of them available at Community 54 in Toronto (1275 Queen St W), and the other half being released at Community 54 in New York City.

The Art of Re-use is back with their second ĭn | tər | ĭm™ Thrift Boutique (pop-up shop) coming to Toronto September 23rd 2010. If you’re unfamiliar with the concept, it’s a unique collective who tours from thrift shop to thrift shop purchasing items to then be re-sold with nothing priced over $50CDN and a limit of three items per customer. The first pop-up shop was extremely successful, fifteen minutes after the doors opened the store’s inventory was sold out.

Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the event date…
