Toronto’s gallery scene has exploded over the past couple of years, and one of our favorites is the “Show & Tell Gallery” on Dundas St., just west of Ossington. They’ve teamed up with the exclusive members only “Spoke Club” to showcase the works of artist Greg Gossel until September 28.
If you’re not a member, don’t worry…we’ve got what you’re looking for (scroll down).

Normally we only post music by Toronto talent, but in the spirit of “One Love” we thought we’d make the exception for France’s No. 1 DJ David Guetta. His music has happy people dancing around the world from club to club and beyond. Check out the video for his latest release featuring Akon – “Sexy Chick”.

The long weekend gave me the chance to listen to some different music. From driving around the city, to cottage life in Wasaga Beach, here are a few joints I was feeling! Let me know what you think?
Kings Of Leon – “Sex On Fire”
Passion Pit – “Let Your Love Grow Tall”
TMDP – “Heat”
Goapele – “Milk and Honey”
Kid Cudi – “Soundtrack 2 My Life”
Yesterday I got the chance to check out the “Hot & Spicy Food Festival” at the Harbourfront Centre. One of the livest performances was by Toronto’s own “Dance Migration” an Afro-Brazilian dance group specializing in Capoeira and live dance.
Check their demo reel below…

If you live in Toronto you’ve probably seen and heard the incredible display of jets maneuvering through the Toronto skyline. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels arrived at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Wednesday and have been performing practice flights for the past few days.

Here’s a quick history lesson in punk music from the 70′s here in Toronto. A band called The Poles created a tune for our very own CN Tower and released it on wax in 1977.
We thought it was pretty cool to dig up some history on what came before us!
Let us know what you think?

Last night I got the chance to connect with Toronto’s own Dalton Higgins at his book launch party for “Hip Hop World”. If you’ve ever been to the Harbourfront Centre to see a live showcase, spoken word, or concert, there’s a good chance Dalton was behind the scenes. He’s been involved in the hip-hop community for years, not only in T.O. but around the world. Whether you’re from Toronto or not, we recommend you pick up Dalton’s new book.
