Toronto based label Ransom just released the photos for their new “Resort” collection for 2012. There’s a good selection of hoodies, khaki pants, button-ups and of course a few key pieces with the classic camo print. There are even a few knitted garments to round out the collection. Check out some of the photos below…

Roots Canada has launched their Valentines Day Collection “Made With Love” In Canada, and we got a sneak peek last night at their Bloor St. location. The collection includes a series of women’s hand bags, tote’s and coin pouches made in red and black Italian leather with a special 3-heart tassel.

After seeing this collection, we thought we’d put this out there for all the fella’s… If you haven’t decided on what to get your Valentine, this might be the gift idea you’ve been looking for.

“Esha” – Short Film

Last year we posted the trailer for “Esha”, a short film about a modern-day love story rooted in the cultural backrop of how people change their names to fit into western society. After being in a series of Film Festivals around the world, Toronto Director Rez Dahya has made Esha available online.

Let us know what you think?

Toronto designer Anu Raina first showcased her Spring/Summer 2012 Collection “Murano” at last year’s LG Fashion Week. She’s preparing to release her Fall/Winter 2012 Collection “Welcome to Toronto”, but before that drops, we’d like to share Murano with you.

The inspiration behind this collection comes from the hand blown glass chandeliers made in Murano, Italy. The movement of colour and play on light has been reinterpreted in this collection with one-of-a-kind pieces made by Anu. “In making this collection I played with colour and dyes fearlessly, showcasing this energy.”

Murano is a movement of colour, light and patterns.

If you like what you see, this collection is available at Homegrown Boutique in Yorkville.
