On Thursday, June 21, 2012, we invited our readers to Toronto’s 3rd annual Open Roof Festival for the opening night screening of “Marley”. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t want to cooperate, so we moved the sold-out crowd inside the local Amsterdam Brewery. The festival runs all summer long, every Thursday night for 10 weeks until August 23, 2012.

On Thursday Sept. 9th, 2010, 1 LOVE T.O. and The Remix Project presented the ‘City Life’ Photo Exhibit. The exhibit included works from the Remix 6.0 participants in the Creative Arts Program as well as some Remix alumni. The night was incredibly successful with over 600 people in attendance, including actor Jamie Hector (aka Marlo) from the HBO series ‘The Wire’, along side award winning Canadian film directors Clement Virgo and Charles Officer. Both Virgo and Officer are part of the City Life Film Project, helping three young directors to create three short films; ‘Balancing Act’, ‘Trespassing’, and ‘The Garden’ that are set to be released at TIFF’s BELL Lightbox November 16th, 2010.
Together with your help, we raised over $5,000 in donations for The Remix Project.
