The Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival is running May 1-31st, exhibiting artists’ work, not only from Toronto, but from around the world. There’s one exhibit that’s a MUST SEE entitled ‘Full Frontal T.O.’, by local Photographer Patrick Cummins. Over the past 30 years he’s wandered the streets of Toronto collecting images of its ever-changing city landscape. His “collations” act as a visual history lesson of the city’s architecture, as the photos compare the similarities and differences between the same buildings over the years. The exhibit opening is May 9, 7-10pm at Urbanspace Gallery, located at 401 Richmond St West. The exhibition launch will also coincide with Coach House Books’ publication of Patrick Cummins’ Full Frontal T.O.
