Our friends over at 4 Elements Photography, based out of Toronto, have been spending some quality time shooting in South Korea. They wanted to show Canadians that Asia is not just China. Through the unique Korean culture, the beauty of the people and their traditions and the history that lies within their landscape – it’s something everyone should experience. Take a look at the video to see what we’re talking about!
So if you were in Yorkville last night, you were probably amongst the many people walking by Bay Station on Cumberland street wondering what the heck was going on. By now you’ve heard all about the Absolut Vodka Party and seen tons of photos online.
After leaving the event we had to explain the who, what, where, why, and when of the event to so many friends and people on the street. So now here’s the video tour for everyone to see what all the fuss was about.
Shout out to Matisse of KEYS N KRATES who was wearing a 1 Love T.O. shirt during their performance.
Last night we joined hundreds of party goers at the most unlikely spot to party – the TTC Bay subway station. Absolut Vodka threw an after party to their art show “In An Absolut World” featuring the artwork of Toronto based artist Justin Broadbent. The party also featured big name DJ Steve Aoki, along side our good friends DJ Illo and Toronto’s own Keys N Krates.
Check out the pics to see what all the hype was about! Video coming soon…
Thanks again to Lana, Kat and Lisa for taking care of us.

Last night the one and only Director, Quentin Tarantino made a very special appearance at the Scotiabank Theatre for the Toronto Premier of his latest film “Inglourious Basterds”. Toronto fans waited patiently in the hopes of getting an autograph, with classic dvd’s such as Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. Luckily for the fans, Tarantino skipped the red carpet to greet the fans with autographs before he proceeded to meet the press.
We won’t ruin the movie for you, but let’s just say it’s worth watching! In fact, I’ll pay to see it again when it actually hits theater’s on the 21st.
We got the chance to meet Jamie Foxx at today’s LG “Life’s Good” Film Festival Launch, here in Toronto. He spoke about his humble beginnings as a piano player and how he got to where he is today. He also spoke about Toronto, and how much he loves spending time here.
After enjoying the nightlife Jamie Foxx said, “Seeing all the cultures dancing together, black, white, everyone getting along, it’s an incredible feeling.”
That’s what 1 LOVE T.O. is all about!

On Saturday I had the chance to get involved in this years SummerWorks Theatre Festival by attending a “SummerWalks – Walking Tour”. The tour was titled “Lola Lita” and was guided by actor/writer Byron Abalos. A large group gathered at the Factory Theatre Courtyard before beginning the very personal tour of Queen West as seen through the eyes of one of its long-time residents, his grandmother. It was an interesting and emotional tour that lasted about an hour. Personally, I’ve never experienced theatre like this, but I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning about our communities from a different perspective.
If you get a chance, check out summerworks.ca to see what else the indie theatre and arts festival has to offer.
