This past Friday, 1 LOVE T.O. was given the VIP treatment at Molson Amphitheatre as part of our continued #AmexAmbassador tour of the many perks available to Amex Cardmembers. This time around, American Express created the same VIP experience for 50 lucky winners and their guests through their Facebook Page as part of #FansWithBenefits. As a way to really thank their Facebook community, they made sure we were all treated to an exciting time before, during and after the Dave Matthews Band concert!
After receiving Front Of The Line access, we were escorted to a private reception at the Amex Lounge, (which is regularly open to all Cardmembers). It was our private hangout for a few hours, a place to relax and enjoy a great view of the city before the show. After dinner we took the opportunity to meet some of the contest winners, who were all thrilled to be a part of the experience:

This was before we had even been taken to our seats in the Amex box and saw our great view of the stage and show. In front of a packed Molson Amphitheatre, Dave Matthews Band went through nearly 3 hours of an incredible set list and we got to be right in the middle of it. The solos from the band members could not have gone on long enough as they transitioned from one hit to another. Rashawn Ross, Boyd Tinsley, Stefan Lessard, Carter Beauford, Tim Reynolds and Dave Matthews all looked like they were having the best time on stage, and it was contagious. The clouds, rain and cold temperature were no match for the warm, upbeat music keeping everyone in the audience on their feet throughout the night.
Amex made sure after all that time on our feet, although voluntarily, we still had a place to rest them afterwards. Complete with more food, drinks and a chance to win more tickets through Front Of The Line, we gathered in the American Express VIP Lounge to unwind after an incredible performance. The performances weren’t over though for both Amex or Blind Pilot, as the band took to the roof of the Amex Lounge to treat us to a private show. Including a Happy Birthday from the band to lead singer Israel Nebecker, it was the perfect way to culminate a great experience and incredible treatment. Amex really went out of their way to make the 100+ of us feel truly special throughout the whole night, and managed to turn a typically audible and visual experience into one that touched all five of our senses.
