
Last night my homie Ed from Toronto based Inqmnd invited myself and T-Rexxx to a spot called “Barchef”. The concept revolves around the idea of the bartender actually being a chef. Instead of your average rum & coke, or vodka soda, the barchef will create your drink from a variety of ingredients at the bar.
Frankie the barchef hooked us up with a little of everything last night…from molecular mojitos, to caramelized alcohol with burnt vanilla sticks and ground pepper. Frankie and his partner Brent took the time to explain each drink as to why and how it’s made, making for an overall drink experience that lasted 4 hours.
